error immediately after publication.The newspaper shall not be
responsible for any error notified after seven days. The publishers
are not responsible for recurring errors.The publisher will not be
held accountable for any loss of income, be it business, personal
or otherwise as a result of any error or omission relating to an

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Light Regional Council is pleased to invite Expressions of Interest from members of
the public who would like to be a part of the Light Regional Council's Development
Assessment Panel (CDAP).
The CDAP has the responsibility for deciding on development applicatons referred
to it under delegaton from Council. The CDAP also reports annually to the Council
on development assessment trends and issues.
The positons advertsed will replace the current independent members, who
have completed their terms of appointment to the Panel. Retring Panel members
may however seek re-appointment by partcipatng in the Expression of Interest
The Council’s CDAP comprises seven members, with four of these, including the
Presiding Member, being independent of the Council. Independent members
should have a reasonable knowledge of the Development Act 1993 as it relates to
development assessment and also appropriate qualifcatons or experience in a feld
that is relevant to the actvites of the Panel, such as: planning, building, design,
environment, architecture, local government or other development industry felds.
Nominees for Presiding Member should have previous experience in chairing formal

and atending meetngs. Currently the CDAP meets on the frst Wednesday of the
month as required.
The term of appointment for all independent members will be for a period of one
