Gawler Golf Club
IN case you haven't had a hit lately,
there have been some changes at the
Gawler Golf Club; it has recently
installed a massive solar-panel sys-
tem, a new entrance is being created
and it has just received a $15,000
grant from the government towards
its new irrigation system.
The club even has golf lessons for
budding junior golfers, so just about
anyone can go and have a putt.
The Gawler Golf Club has also
recently welcomed a new manager,
WANT to play inline hockey? The
North Vikings Inline Hockey Club
has free learn to play nights, held in
Gawler every Monday; all you need
to take is a helmet and you're good
The club is based at the Gawler Sport
and Community Centre, Nixon Terrace
and trains Monday and Wednesday, with
regular competition on Saturdays.
The summer season is in terms four
and one and then the winter season is
terms two and three.

Three-legged foal...This photo of a three-legged foal with its mother was taken
in 1936 or '37 just north of Willaston. Port Lincoln man Ron Wilson sent the
photo to The Bunyip because he thought many people would be interested
in seeing it. Mr Wilson ensured us there was no 'trick photography' involved.
WOMEN in Agriculture and Business
Rosedale and Sandy Creek branch
members welcomed Rhonda Fischer and
Jenny Barr from the charity organisation
Cara at their recent meeting.
Cara is the choice of the group's
2014/15 project and the guests gave
a comprehensive insight into the
