A GAWLER woman has found success
in her passion for her Dutch heritage.
Angela Leaney has been delighting the
local community with products and
produce from The Fresh Egg Shop and
The Dutch Pantry Klemzig for years,
after going into business with her
husband and local egg farmer, Andrew.
She now sells local eggs, jams and
farm produce as well as an assortment
of Dutch biscuits, vegetables, krokets,
sweet and salty licorice, as well as
Dutch clog slippers at The Dutch Pantry
“My late mum (Sjan) inspired me so
much to keep the Dutch family tradition
going that I realised how hard it is to buy
Dutch food locally so I also opened a
little quaint Dutch shop next to the egg
shop, which I am currently renovating
and extending,” she said.
The shops, which are open from 8.30am
to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to
2pm, Saturday, are located at 72 OG
