FOR the past decade the Joseph Seridis Trust
Fund has been helping ease the lives of young
people with a disability.
Established in honour of the late Gawler resident,
Joseph Seridis, who died in 2002 at the age of 24, the
initiative raises funds for equipment to assist people
with a disability in their day-to-day life.

pendence and their daily living, just so they can have
a life of normality."
Mr Seridis said the fund was conceived by his fam-
ily, who felt "a void" after Joseph passed away.

community looking for help or might not be in a po-

family to have a break.
"We all get to go on holidays, but a lot of families
don't because they're just not in a position to," Mr
"Times are changing and leisure time is pretty im-

after 10 years because these things don't have use-by
dates," he said.
