Gawler Community Plan for
2014 to 2024.
The plan is based on a series of
ideas and aspirations that came
from the 'Picture This' project late
last year and is open for public con-
A community workshop will be
held next Wednesday for people in-
terested in being involved with the
development of the document and
helping council finalise it.
Residents can also make a public
deputation about the plan in an-

The draft is a key document for
council to identify local aspirations
for the future and is used as a guide
for council decision-making to de-

KAPUNDA residents could
soon see more clearly follow-
ing a free eye-health care service
Light Regional Council, in con-
junction with The Freemasons of
The Lodge of Light No 11, is invit-
ing the community to the My Eye
Health Community Presentation,
which will focus on topics includ-
ing low vision, glaucoma, cataracts,
eye health, macular degeneration
and diabetic retinopathy.
The program was established in
2010 by the Freemasons Founda-
tion, the Royal Society for the
Blind, the Royal Australian and
New Zealand College of Ophthal-
mologists (South Australia branch)
and the Sight for All Foundation.
