Auction to help
AN Evanston business is pulling together to help
a local family in need.
That's Furniture will hold a silent auction at the
end of the month, with the funds raised to aid former
employee Rebecca Allen and her family.
After a tough cancer battle last year, Ms Allen has
recently been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer,
devastating family and friends, especially her two
young boys, Lachlan, 12, and Harry, 7.
That's Furniture owner Anne-Marie Ats encour-

with problems and pain.
"The lump kept getting bigger and causing more
and more pain but she didn't let it keep her off work,
even for a day," Mrs Ats said.
After surgery to remove the lump, there were hopes
Ms Allen was in the clear.
Sadly, about two weeks ago she was having trouble
breathing and upon attending hospital, tests found
the cancer had appeared in her lungs and was ter-
The auction will be held at That's Furniture from
3pm to 5pm, July 27, with all proceeds going towards
setting up Ms Allen's two children for the future.
