Matt Rix (aka Matrix), of Gawler,
and Evan Dalziell (aka Uncle E)
recently had their talent recognised
when they won the chance to
support hip-hop heavyweights Bliss
n Eso, as well as Seth Sentry and
Horrowshow, in Bathurst.
After having their song 'Pop

of others online, it was then
shortlisted in the top three songs
for a public vote.
Rix said the pair initially thought
they had no chance of winning but

could," Rix said.
"All the acts and crew were
welcoming and supportive and the
crowd was insane."
Not long after Bathurst, Hungry
Beast released its debut EP,
'Durango', which has been well
received by its broad fan base.
"It is a real blend of styles, but it's
uniquely Hungry Beast," Rix said.

According to Rix, Australian

our sound and grow our fan base
before we tackle a full album," Rix
"Some well-known producers
have approached us because they
are keen to collaborate, but I have
to keep all that on the low for now.
"The next few years will be us
just honing our craft and becoming
the best artists we can be."
