error immediately after publication.The newspaper shall not be
responsible for any error notified after seven days. The publishers
are not responsible for recurring errors.The publisher will not be
held accountable for any loss of income, be it business, personal
or otherwise as a result of any error or omission relating to an

INDEPENDENT CHAIRPERSON PLUS
INDEPENDENT MEMBERS (3)
Council is seeking expressions of interest for membership
of its Development Assessment Panel (CDAP). CDAP has
responsibility for assessing development applicatons
referred for decision under delegaton from Council.
Additonally, CDAP also reports annually to the Council
on development assessment trends and issues, and may
undertake other functons assigned by Council.
The positons for membership will replace existng
independent members who have completed their terms
of appointment on the Panel. Retring Panel members
however, may seek re-appointment by partcipatng in the
Expressions of Interest process.
Interested persons must have a reasonable knowledge
of the operaton and requirements of the Development
Act 1993 and appropriate qualifcatons or experience in
a feld that is relevant to the actvites of the Panel such as
the planning, building, design, environment, architecture,
local government, real estate or other development
Independent members are compensated for their tme
and expertse by an appropriate level of remuneraton,
determined by the Council. Currently CDAP meetngs
are held on the frst Tuesday evening of the month as
required. The term of appointments will be for up to two
years, commencing December 2014.

Council, at its meetng held on Tuesday, 26 August 2014,
formally resolved to commence public consultaton on a
proposal declare a separate rate pursuant to Secton 154
of the Local Government Act 1999 (“the Act”) to fund
the Roseworthy Township Expansion Development Plan
In accordance with Secton 151 of the Act and Council’s
Public Consultaton Policy, community feedback on the
proposal is now sought.
Document copies can be downloaded from Council’s
website www.light.sa.gov.au, or viewed at Council’s ofces
and libraries from Wednesday, 10 September 2014.
Community feedback is important and Council encourages
writen submissions to be addressed to Light Regional
Council, c/- Mr James Miller, General Manager – Economic

3 October 2014.
The Public Meetng for Consultaton will be held at the
